Wondrous & Charming In Wimbledon
This family home was being completely renovated, so the garden was a blank space with endless possibility. With one of the daughters set to have her wedding in the garden this September, there was lots to consider, while ensuring the space be usable once the celebration was complete.
We connected the house to a level patio which created a seamless indoor/outdoor feel. The corner of the patio became a lovely suntrap in the afternoon, so we took advantage of this by adding some outdoor furniture - this space will be the perfect spot to enjoy a good book, or an afternoon cocktail. We connected a lower level decked area through a series of large stairs, which really opened the house up to the garden. The deck area is where the family will enjoy some al fresco dining, with a built in barbecue.
The lawn needed to be as large enough to allow for family games, and lots of fun!
A small fire pit area at the back of the garden comes off a small garden room, creating a journey through the space. With the use of a simple L-shaped pergola, the space will feel enclosed and intimate.
We added a gate to the back boundary to all for easy access into the park behind the property.
