Terraced Garden In Muswell Hill
This garden was designed for a family who wanted a space to enjoy the sunshine in their hot tub, while being completely surrounded by planting, creating the ultimate space to unwind and relax in. The levels of the garden were complex, and areas needed to be terraced to make the space more usable. We divided the garden into a patio area for an outdoor sofa, this connects to a decked area where the sunshine can be enjoyed in the hot tub, and a lower patio, towards the bottom of the garden which creates a fire pit area just in front of the garden room which will be used to entertaining friends.
This planting scheme was created using white flowering plants to lift the shade cast from the established trees in the forest below the garden. With white flowers reflecting the afternoon sun in such a brilliant way, we are looking forward to seeing the garden more established next summer.
